The Mexican director got 4 nominations for the Óscar Awards 2022
The Academy of Hollywood announced on Tuesday the nominees for the Oscar Awards 2022 for its 94th annual edition. In this edition there is good news for Mexicans like Guillermo del Toro and his film "Alley of Lost Souls" ("Nightmare Alley"), which got 4 nominations for the Oscar Awards 2022. In fact, "Alley of Lost Souls" will compete in the categories: Costume Design, Cinematography, Production Design and Best Picture. To make way for the Olympic Games, the 2022 Oscar ceremony will be held on March 27. And for the second year in a row, they will take place during the pandemic. This year, the 94th ceremony of The Academy of Hollywood will be held in March in Los Angeles and the Mexican director will again have the possibility of winning the golden statuette through these nominations as it happened in 2018 when he was crowned in the most important categories thanks to his film "The Shape of Water".
