Extreme caution recommended

Intense rains are expected in the North and South Coast of the State and surrounding municipalities; In response to the above and prioritizing the welfare of all the people of Jalisco, the committee decided to start with the operational deployments from today, so that 300 Civil Protection officers remain attentive to any eventuality and this afternoon there will also be the deployment of officers from the Guadalajara, Talpa de Allende, and El Grullo to Puerto Vallarta in order to strengthen the prevention work before the arrival of 'Roslyn''.
School activities for secondary and higher education programmed in the coastal zone for this Saturday, October 22nd will be suspended, as well as ecotourism activities, the use of ATVs and racers in the mountainous zone and beach activities in the area, all with the purpose of safeguarding the integrity of everyone.
DIF Jalisco and SAMU also have the necessary equipment deployed to attend and provide the necessary care.
It should also be noted that the support and coordination of federal institutions such as the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, the Federal Electricity Commission, SEDENA, the Ministry of the Navy and the National Guard is already in place.
Representatives of the State Congress, the University of Guadalajara, the Guadalajara City Council, the Mexican Red Cross, the Guadalajara Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of the Construction Industry also participated in the Committee's meeting. In addition to the agencies of the Ministry of Public Safety; Ministry of Health; SADER; DIF Jalisco; OPD Health Services and General Strategic Coordination of Security.
The population is invited to take extreme precautions and keep informed about the passage of "Roslyn" through official channels and avoid falling into misinformation and in case of an emergency, the population is asked to dial 911 or the telephone numbers of the Civil Protection and Fire Department of their municipality.
